We can re-condition most cylinders up to 3.75" for 1, 2, 4, or (L)(V)6 cylinder blocks. We can also bore single cylinders for sleds, bikes, etc in the same range. We can offer honing services for the same sizes re-condition most marine conneting rods, centermain bearings & reed blocks. Custom Built 44XS Fully-Modified PowerheadIn-house we perform the above listed services on some of the best brand-name equipment; Sunnen, Kwik-Way & central to name a few. Our boring bar is a Kwik-Way FWS, which is straight and true and has been completely updated with a rebuilt boring head and micrometer bore. We use the proper Kwik-Way small-engine stand to square and true the blocks for boring; to the table. Our cutters are brand new and we can also bore blind-hole cylinders for vintage to current mercury engines. Our Cylinder Hone is also a Kwik-Way; model 092, it as well completely redone last year. Rebuilt and with new oil, The 092 hone is a powerhouse, featuring adjustable power-stroke for tuning the cross-hatch finish, dwell for removing high spots and of course the manual settings for final finishing of the cylinder.

Custom Racing Lower Unit Left Hand Thread Repair Our rod hone is a Sunnen power stroke machine, tried and true this is the only machine to have for this purpose, a very versatile machine. On this machine we can hone pretty much any size I.D. hole in pretty much any material. We can insert the hone attachment and hone single cylinders, more conveniently with less set-up time. We also have a lathe chuck for this machine allowing us to quickly polish the outside diameters of cranfshafts, spindles & more.

Custom Built Mariner 200HP V-6 mounted on an Off-Shore Racing Mid-Section We have been using the same CNC machine shop for almost 8 years. We have all our port specs programmed into their CNC machines, so porting a outboard cylinder block is a simple task now. We have pre-done ports designs for 2, 4, L6, V6 outboards blocks and from a simple port + mild polish to cutting new ports after the installation of a sleeve, all the cylinders will be perfectly identical. We still do all of our polishing, port chamfering and finite details by hand, and we believe that there is not a machine out there that can reproduce this process.
